Firstdrive - The services we provide

We can do pretty much anything mechanical to pretty much any make and model of car. We can say this confidently as over the years we have built up rather a broad range of experience including some of the most complex engine work. there's more detail in the menu's on the left hand side, but the main details are:

• Labour rate is £39 + VAT per hour
• Our fully licensed MOT test lane uses the latest equipment giving us the ability to test all makes and models of petrol and diesel cars. Cost £54.85 with no charge for retest.
• Servicing, please contact us for a quote specific to your car.
• Engine Diagnostics.  We have a LAUNCH and latest VAGCOM software so we can diagnose nearly all makes and models of car.  We do not charge for this service if you are using our garage for the repairs.
• Tyres.  We can supply and fit most makes of tyres, including winter tyres.  Please call with the size of your tyre for a quote.  If you are unsure if you need new tyres please come to visit us and we can let you know.  We can check wheel alignment and balance wheels.
• We can also fit brakes, shock absorbers, car batteries, exhausts, gearboxes and clutches.
• Welding.  If we can save you money by welding or repairing parts rather than fitting new ones we will.
• Urgent Repairs. If you have an emergency repair we will do our best to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
